Womble info..
In Tim Ernst's Arkansas Hiking Trails it states:
This is the third longest trail in Arkansas. It was originally built as part of the Ouachita Trail, then became the Womble. It connects with he OT, runs along the Ouachita River, Crosses Hwys 27, 298, and 270, then climbs Mauldin Mountain, p;asses Gaston Mountain,a nd ends at North Fork Lake. The views are breathtaking, and there are lots and lots of large trees along the way.
I will spare you the rest....

Re: Womble info..
I live really close to the Womble. I've been on it, but not all of it. I'm planning to do the whole thing in the next month or so. I'm pretty excited about it!
