New workdate for the Caney Creek Wilderness, from W. Trail head

Post by ouachita hiker on Tue Mar 02, 2010 9:54 am

Just thought I would post this:

I will be leading a group in from the W. Trail head into the Caney Creek Wilderness area to do mainly brush work
on the weekend of March 20th (Sat.) and 21st (Sun.). If you would like to help out send me a PM.

Thanks for caring about the wilderness!

Tom Trigg

For those that are stradling the fence on this. Here is the folks that have agreed to go in
and help me on the trail:
Mark Adams-coming the night before
Ted Zwermann-meeting us Sat. morning
Chris Akins- very strong maybe-hope you can make it Chris!
Rick Smith-maybe? Sorry Rick I deleted your PM.. If I have this wrong no big deal.

Any one else want to get in on the fun? What can I say? New trail, practice practice
in stream crossings (Cossatot is always a wet crossing). Getting to camp over night
by a beautiful stream. I know that there are more.
anybody, anybody????
