Rich,
Welcome to the site. Like the others above I am drawing a blank on the waterfall.

Re: First Post. . . a waterfall
The falls are Magnolia Falls, located in the ozark national forest near mossville. By the way I really like the site!
I'm kinda new at whole picture posting thing, but this is very cool.
Here's another one: What is this Arkansas waterfall?

Rich,
Welcome to the site and I love the pics. Recently I have been playing around on Google Earth and I noticed that there are a lot of Waterfall Pics from Arkansas on there. It has really made me want to take the family out and find some on our own.
I do not know which one you just posted, but wanted to say welcome.

Re: First Post. . . a waterfall
Most of our hikes are in quest of falls, I typically forget to set the distance on the gps so can only guess how far we really walked. With the track and the topos, I know pretty close.. give or take a little wandering for the best camera angle. But for things like the competition here.. I can't really count that. But we have a great time.
These guys get a bit hung up on trails sometimes. But tons of info and experience.. and most of them are "tolerable" guys
So come on in and sit a spell

Re: First Post. . . a waterfall
Those falls above are Stahle falls. They're just downstream from the first falls that I posted, Magnolia falls.
Theres also a 3rd waterfall in between Stahle and Magnolia falls that is pretty impressive, Woods boys falls:
That day was at pretty high water, so it made the tough hike downhill into the drainage to see woods boys and stahle falls from the bottom worth it! It's really not that far of a hike, but it's steep.
