Team B Hike?
Hey guys! Welcome to Team B! Glad to see we have the stronger team!
(Sorry Team A, but this is true.)
Seriously though, I think we should schedule a TEAM B HIKE as soon as possible! I think we should tackle Eagle Rock Loop sometime in early February. That would net us each 26.5 miles! If all six of us made it, that would be 159 miles. What a way to kick this off! Give me your thoughts / concerns.

Wish I could! Still have a few items on my to-do list to finish getting the house ready to sell. It is actually on the market now, so cross your fingers for me!

What am I up against? My body! If I can ever get that naging pain out of my left heal I will be doing a lot more bping!! I still don't think that it is a heal spur, taking a long time to heal. Trying to keep my milages short for now.

Re: Team B Hike?
Sounds good to me, but I am almost limited to short hikes for now. We are adopting our daughter tomorrow, and Amanda is homeschooling her now. That means dad has more work to do. Post the dates and I will do my best to work it all out.

Sounds good to me also. Someone pick the dates so we can all apply for kitchen passes.
QH I have a re-occuring heel pain that is attributed to plantar fasciitis. I can keep my pain at bay by doing some simple stretches every evening and every few miles on the trail.

I hope this helps, i know mine is very painful when it flares up.

Re: Team B Hike?
I agree on the frustration. I use a 6 ft piece of 1/4" shockcord tied into a continuous loop. When I sit in the recliner I put one end around the back of my neck and the other around my toes. I try to do this for 10 min per foot every night. This stretching and good arch supports have made the pain a non issue. However, I cannot go barefoot around the house with out causing pain. The lack of continued support on the arches stretches the tendon to a point of pain. If this progresses it will cause heel spurs. I hope this helps.

Well, I have just been informed that the first two weekends of February are out for me. The first weekend is my wife's birthday and the second weekend is Valentine's weekend.
