Campground Host!

Campground Host!
Well I have a new hat and title here at the Horshoe Bend Campgound. Janet and I are now the campgound hosts!
We won't have many duties involved but we will have a choice location to live and have our spot and utitiles for
free! The other host just took up and left a little over a week ago to points unknown. Any way we are in the process of getting ready to move the camper to a new spot. Probably will be Friday afternoon or Sat. If any of you guys want to come this way, this is a great jumping of point for the Caney Creek Wilderness and the Eagle Rock Loop, just let me know. There isn't really a reservation system but we do it for the scouts and I will do it for any of you. This camp ground isn't used much except during the hunting seasons, esp. the modern gun hunts. And there is a large pavilion.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. John Muir

Re: Campground Host!
Guys I believe that it takes us aprox. 30 to 45 mins. from the Caney and the ERL areas. This is a great jumping
off point. Let me know that you are coming and I will researve you a spot.

OH:
That's great news. I will definitely keep that info in mind. I'm planning on doing the ERL again this December.
