Re: Tarp and Hammock Clinic
OK, guys. Here is the scoop on the Tarp & Hammock Clinic.
I rented a campsite instead of a pavilion so that those who wanted to stay and camp could do so, because the sites are going quick.
The site that I rented in B4, right on the river. There is a covered picnic table at the site, in case it rains. It even has trees close enough together so that Preacha can hang his hammocks.
The weather outlook is a high of 86 and only 20% chance of rain. So I think that it's going to wind up being a great day.
The easiest way to get to the site will be to go across the bridge to the west side of the river(opposite side from Conway), take the first road to the right, follow it around the curve to the first right, take that down to the gate house, and ask them where campsite B4 is. To try and give directions directly to the campsite would be too difficult to write.
If anyone needs directions to the park, PM me and I can give you directions and my cell number, if you need it.
Kyle, thanks for your help with this, even though you are going BACKPACKING without us!!
IMPORTANT!!! For those wanting to camp over night, the site is limited to a total of 8 people and 2 tents, but tarps are not counted, according to the people at the gatehouse.

Re: Tarp and Hammock Clinic
I am contemplating staying overnight. I would probably tent it though, so if there are already 2 tents on the campsite, that's totally fine: I'll find another spot or I'll head home, no big deal. I may not stay anyway.
I'm looking forward to it guys!

Re: Tarp and Hammock Clinic
All snakes aside, is there anything I can bring tomorrow that will help out in any way? And we're actually supposed to do this thing at 2 PM, right?
Re: Tarp and Hammock Clinic
Yes, the time of the clinic is 2:00. Everyone should bring their own chair, drinks, and what ever else makes them comfortable.
