So, I made a huge mistake that was brought to my attention yesterday. I promised a couple of my friends that I would take them backpacking this coming weekend (don't kill me). Since my last trip got canceled, I'm really hoping that this one happens. Still, it might rain, so I don't know if this one will happen either. Long story short, I might be at the clinic, I might not.

Willky,

If you plan on coming into the Southern Ouachitas the forcast, as of now, is 40% chance of thunder showers during the day and 60% at night. Highs in the 70's Sat. and in the 80's Sun. lows in the 60's. We have gotten a lot of rain of late. I am sure that all of the streams are realy flowing good. In Caney Creek Wilderness I bet all of the crossings may be wet but Katey falls should be running real good! Very Happy

I know. Usually rain would make me reconsider (not to mention all the good info that I'm going to miss at the clinic), but I just want to get out so bad! And I'm really hoping the fall is running well.

On another note, I really don't want to miss what is going on at the clinic. So, is there anyway we can get a video of the "teaching" parts of the clinic? No big deal if we cannot. Just an idea.

UL, I'm working on the place to have it at Toad Suck. I should have it tomorrow.

Who all is going to be at the tarp clinic? Bring your own water, sodas or any other beverages. Bring your own chairs and anything else you can think of. We would just like to get head count.

Thanks,
Lew

We are planning on being there. I do not know if my wife and babies will be there, but my boys and I still will.

Does anyone know how the weather is suppossed to be down there? My wife may come with me if the weather is nice for the kids. It has been raining here all mid-morning and afternoon. Oh well, its not like there will not be plenty of tarps there if it begins to rain Smile
