Re: Jay
Looking at the members list he last visited the forums on Tue. Dec. 22 09 at 7:18.
I am betting that his email has changed and he hasn't updated his profile. At one
time I had his cell number but when I changed phones last year I lost it. Not that
it couldn't have changed to. Last I remember his father was in AZ. Just wondering
if he didn't move.

John wrote:Who is this guy?
I've never seen him post.
Jay is the owner of the website. He was very involved in the beginning getting everyone involved with the site.
He did live in Mt. Ida, AR and worked in Hot Springs. His job was outsourced and he moved back to MO.
When he moved we all kinda lost touch with him.
Guess he will drift back eventually.

Re: Jay
We are all puzzled by Jay's
absence
from the site. Maybe if we all talk about him
long enough he will show up! He is a great guy and loves the outdoors.

Re: Jay
ABC hikers,
Just looked up who is the owner of the website and does not say, but does say who is the administrator. I am going to email the adminstrator and see if he has talked to the owner or what we can do to get in contact with Jay. I will keep you posted.
The URL expires on March 27th, 2010 and will come up for renewal then. We may have some technical issues at the end of the month, similar to the isssues we had last year.
If anyone knows Jays last name and what part of Missouri he lives in, I can do a little research to contact him as well.

Re: Jay
FYI-I did receive an email from Jay. Just message me and I can forward his email to you. He has had a pretty brutal travel schedule and should be back checking in on the forum pretty soon. He is aware of the website expiring the end of March.

Re: Jay
Can we ask him about one of us getting access to create and maintain an upcoming hikes calendar on the home page?
