Is It Too Cold For a Tech Blanket Right Now?
Too Cold for a Tech Blanket?
I'm heading out on the Womble this Friday. I'm debating on whether or not I should go ahead and carry my FLIP 25/40 Sleeping Bag or if I could get away with just using my Tech Blanket. I sleep hot, but I haven't used the blanket much, so I'm not sure it'll be warm enough. I'll be in a tent and I'll be using a small Prolite 3 Therm-a-Rest pad too.
The extended forecast right now predicts 42 degrees at the lowest. If a storm was to blow in, it would probably get colder than that.
So, what do you think?

I sleep hot too, so I say go for it. That way you can let me know how it worked out.

You could probably get by with one, especially if you carry some LUW, as a backup, to sleep in. Once it gets below 40, you will probably begin to push the limits of comfort.
