Just though I would mention that you are to contact Liz in Mt. Ida, email is fine, when you plan on working on the trail.
Let her know aprox. when and were you will be.

I just sent out this email, if you would like to work but don't know where to go come on and join me in the Winding Stairs!

Well we are one week away from our work weekend on the ERL. For those
that plan on working we me I plan on being at the FS rd. 106 access to
Winding Stairs at 7am (to beat the heat). If you can't come till later
just follow the trail and catch up. There will be one crossing of
Blaylock Creek and then the double crossing of the Little Mo. Depending
on if there is rain this week or not but it will be a wet crossing. I
want to work mainly in the Winding Stairs area. You can work at your
own pace. You can hike in or stay overnight, your choice. If we get
hot we can swim awhile!

Hope to see you on the trail!

Tom,

Thanks for the heads up! The Family and I will be heading down to Albert Pike Thursday morning (if there is a site available Wink ) and then I will be leaving her there with the baby and I will go work on my section Thursday to Saturday.

I hope to be done with my section Friday, that way I can meet up with you all a little on Saturday morning before we have to head back home. It sounds like a great time, and if I cannot find any spots at Albert Pike, I may set up the big family tent in the campsite off from the FR 106 winding stair parking lot. I think Amanda will prefer the bathrooms and showers that AP provides though Wink See you soon!

Well, I am planning to come up on Monday (Memorial Day) and hike with my daughters for a two night trip. I wanted to take them along the Little Mo Falls area for a day hike and then go back and pack in to the Winding Stairs area. I reckon Tom and Co. will have that section covered so I'll take my pruning equipment along the Little Mo Falls trail. I'll be back up that way several days later for my yo-yo and can do some more work then.

Did you guys ever come up with a name for the maintenance group?

Dewayne,

If AP doesn't work out for you, but it might since you are going up Thursday, you might come down to my campground and stay. Would be a good place for your wife and child. Also here if it is all full up I will find you a spot! I will be in Little Rock Thursday but find a place were you can get a cell signal and give me a call.

Red,

If I get enough help I hope to get all of the Winding stairs area done.
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!!!

I would like to add that i will only be able to work one day. Since I am a campground host, at least that will be the hat I will be wearing that weekend, I need to be here for the rest of the weekend. I had wanted to work more but alas reality has set in.
