Buffalo November 1-9

Post by Trail Monkey on Tue Oct 28, 2008 4:35 pm

Ok.. here is the scoop.. I will be in the Buffalo area (Upper and Middle) from November 1-9. All over the place. Some days car camping some days camping on the trail. Colt was going to join me but... see the other post about him. So he cant make it but anyone wanting to come up (Preacha) let me know by Friday Night. I don't know where and when I will be so if I know when your coming up I can make plans to meet you somewhere. I always turn off my phone when I get there as the coverage is usually lousy there anyway. PM me and I will give you my number and we can talk about it. Till the 10th I will be OUT baby... hahaha.

TM,

Hope you have a great time! I can't get back out till after the 15th of Nov. Got to hit the books, studying for my comps at UAM. I hate this now! Much rather be on the trail or even doing trail work.

OH

Take care. I got an invite to go hiking tonight, but alas it is Halloween and I have 4 kids. I am very envious for you Eddie, take care and have a blast.

Hey guys, I posted earlier that I was going on the Butterfield this weekend, but my friend informed me that we are going to Jasper, and Kyles Landing. It looks like I am finally getting a chance to go to the Buffalo Very Happy . Does anyone know where Eddie might be this Friday evening, and Saturday? We are leaving here around 3pm Friday, and then waiting for some other people. I think we will be car camping Friday night and hiking all day Saturday. I thought it would be cool to meet up with Eddie and tell him that I am going to win the Backcounry Fitness Challenge lol! .

When we were there a few weeks ago, we stayed at the Ozark campgrounds. However, when I talked to him before he left this time, he said he was going to be staying some down around the Centerpoint trail and around the Hemmed-In-Hollow area. In other words, there is no telling with Eddie where he might be.

Eddie and I are probably going back out that way the first or second weekend in December.

Hey guys I just got back and did the Indian Creek Trail, it was great, and I will post a full report with pics soon. I looked for Eddie at Kyles but no luck, my friend and I were the only ones in Hammocks.
