Attention Paddlers!

Fri Jan 23, 2009 6:04 pm by Jay

If you canoe or kayak anywhere around Arkansas, and if you care for our natural environment, you NEED to check out an event scheduled for April 26th, 2009. It's called PADDLE 4 THE PLANET.

It's being organized by my favorite Hot Springs outfitter, Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters, and is being sponsored by The North Face and Patagonia. It is a non-profit event designed promote environmental awareness.

And the best part is, it costs almost nothing to take part. (Seriously, like, burger-and-fries cheap.) And if you register before April 1st, you'll get a free t-shirt!

Register. Paddle. Save the World.
